Directive Council
Constitution, Functions and Competences of the Directive Council
The Directive Council of UNIDCOM/IADE is constituted by: President; Executive Director; one member by delegation of IADE's General Direction and the heads of the Research Lines;
The President is a professor, a well renown researcher, appointed by the Superior Council of IADE, exercising the functions of Scientific Coordinator;
The Executive Director is a research doctor, appointed by the Direction of IADE under proposal from the Scientific Council of UNIDCOM/IADE;
Functions of the Directive Council: to implement the research policy defined by the Scientific Council and to ratify the approval of research projects made by the Scientific Council;
It falls to the Directive Council: the administrative management of UNIDCOM/IADE, in conjunction with the Superior Council and Direction of IADE, and the mandatory implementation of the Scientific Council's decisions.
Scientific Council
The Scientific Council includes all the research doctors of UNIDCOM/IADE;
The Scientific Council promotes and implements research and development projects;
To approve the activity plans of the projects and their budgets;
To admit or exclude researchers and collaborators;
To grant scholarships and exchanges;
To propose and decide the effectiveness of protocols and cooperation covenants and partnerships in conjunction with the direction of UNIDCOM/IADE;
To approve the acquisition of bibliography and equipment;
Constitution: the Executive Coordination Council is constituted by the Executive Director of UNIDCOM/IADE and by the heads of the Laboratorial Departments of IADE;
Functions: the Executive Coordination Council must establish the contributions from the Laboratorial Departments (Digital Systems, Audio-Visual Media, Photography, Publishing Centre, Models and Prototypes) in their logistic support to the research projects since 40% of their activities are dedicated to the research.
